So after Good Friday’s procession at Pagsanjan, Laguna, all i wanted to do when i get back to our house was to eat dinner and have a good night sleep. I didn’t even get to think that it was my 18th birthday. But behold the mightiness of the good Lord, I’ve had the awsm-est surprise birthday bash YET. I never knew that my 2nd cousins love me that much. Mehehe.
Funny isn’t it? What’s really weird about my family is that no one is capable  of providing a good name to anything or anyone. Well, that’s the exact reason why I ended up having “Shereen” as my first name. Lame. :| So, meet the new member of our family! Together let’s bark(say) “arf arf”(hello) to Pet One. :)
Just an hour and a half away from the sunny, busy streets of malate manila, you can now enter the city of malolos bulacan. That tantalizing aroma of freshly grilled chicken and pork intestines. Cousins who can lift and throw you anywhere as if you’re a throw-pillow. Loooooong stories and advice from your grandmother. Biking and skateboarding until your skin aches to death because of sunburn. Your comfy and cozy room. The scent of the morning breeze. The feeling of having people dining together with you for breakfast, anjanette astoria lunch, merienda and dinner— just like the old times. Now i can finally say “This is home”. :)
April 11. The day i celebrated my 18th birthday. :) Yes, well, my lie finally reached its endpoint. I’m no longer 16 years old to my UST and FEU friends, 17 to my High School friends and other acquaintances, 15 to my cousins, and 13 to myself. :( K. Hahaha. :D
